If you're searching for the next performance leap in off-road racing, your wait is over. Kyosho has unveiled the new Inferno MP11e, a 1/8 scale 4WD Racing Buggy equipped with a brushless motor, designed to dominate the global electric (EP) racing scene.

This latest model inherits the proven weight distribution and chassis architecture from the gas-powered (GP) Inferno MP11, which debuted in 2025, while pushing precision and performance to unprecedented levels in the electric category.

Chassis and Weight Distribution

At the heart of the MP11e is a new 3mm 7075 aluminum main chassis featuring a true hard anodized finish. To lower the center of gravity and optimize balance, Kyosho has adopted a split battery layout on the left and right sides. The battery holder is sliding and adjustable, exclusively compatible with competition batteries: it allows for 12 total positions for "Short" size batteries and 9 positions for "Middle size" batteries.

Additionally, the rear chassis reinforcement is managed by a resin brace, whose pitch and roll stiffness can be tuned by swapping the insert plates and choosing between plastic bushings (for high-grip tracks) or rubber (for bumpy or low-traction surfaces).

Transmission and Differentials

Transmission efficiency has been a key focus. The MP11e boasts a straight drive line to maximize power delivery. Among the features most appreciated by modelers are:

Easy Diff Access: The front and rear bulkheads feature a split design, allowing for quick access to the differential and fast height changes to adjust grip.

Reinforced Gears: The bevel gears inside the differentials are now sintered for increased durability, with a 10T/20T combination at both the front and rear, designed to enhance acceleration and throttle response.

Adjustable Center Differential: Designed with a low center of gravity, it offers three different height settings simply by swapping the bearing bushings.

"Cap Universal" Drive Shafts: The universal joint drive shafts are now covered by an aluminum cap that prevents grease leakage, protects against dust, and keeps pins from falling out during impacts.

Suspension and Handling

To improve high-speed stability, the front aluminum hubs have been updated with a 12Β° kingpin angle and an 18Β° caster angle. Cornering speed is enhanced thanks to an optimized Ackerman ratio and a new steering plate that offers six different positions, allowing for highly customizable steering response.

The "Big Shock" pressure shocks excel at absorbing bumps. They feature larger casings with a plated finish to reduce contamination of the silicone oil and are mounted on robust 7075 duralumin shock towers (5mm thick in the front and 4mm in the rear). To avoid errors during setup changes in the pits, the suspension pin bushings now feature a handy engraving ("FF/FR/RF/RR").

Aerodynamics and Body

The design is not just aesthetic; it’s functional. The new body channels air from the narrow front towards the sculpted wing-shaped side pods, drastically increasing rear grip. The sharply angled nose and revised cabin position ensure agile handling in low-traction conditions and excellent jump stability.

Finally, the rear wing has been lightened and features adjustable height and depth supports. It includes 16 pre-marked airflow holes on the flap, which can be opened by the driver for tailored aerodynamic calibration based on the track.

Electronics

Completing the package, the MP11e includes a dustproof sealed receiver box and a separate radio plate for the ESC, adjustable longitudinally for millimeter-precise weight balancing.

The Inferno MP11e is poised to be a model "Built for the wild" but refined for the podium. An essential machine for any driver looking to compete at the highest levels in the 1/8 EP Buggy category.
