On Sunday, March 1, 2026, around 40 drivers participated in the inaugural race at the new Area83 off-road circuit in Palma de Mallorca, creating a day filled with competition, excitement, and a deep passion for radio-controlled off-road modeling.
The long-awaited opening of the Area83 circuit attracted numerous enthusiasts and drivers eager to test the new layout in a race divided into two categories: gas and electric. From the very first heats, an atmosphere of great enthusiasm was palpable, with a high technical level and races fought until the last lap.

The circuit features a modern and technical layout, characterized by compact dirt surfaces and a track designed to offer dynamic and challenging driving. Technical corners alternate with fast straights and jump sections, creating a course that tests both driving precision and model speed.
One of the most spectacular parts of the track is the central area, featuring a series of jumps and doubles that require excellent control of the vehicle and perfect rhythm management. This section provided thrilling moments during the heats, with overtakes and comebacks making the races particularly gripping.

The elevated driverβs stand was also highly appreciated, allowing for a complete view of the circuit and facilitating model control throughout the track. The organization of the day ran smoothly, with qualifiers and finals held in both categories.
The participation of around 40 drivers contributed to a competitive yet friendly atmosphere, typical of events dedicated to radio-controlled modeling. Between heats, drivers and enthusiasts had the opportunity to interact, share experiences, and closely observe the various model configurations on the track.

At the end of the races, awards were presented for the gas and electric categories, with the winners greeted by applause from the attendees and captured in memorable photos of the day.
